Jean-Baptiste Boussougou was born in Gabon, Henri Roger in Egypt.
Two countries and a continent that evoke large spaces, sounds and silences.
Jean-Baptiste Boussougou invited Henri Roger to join and improvise from a few themes and sounds he creates with the oud, the ngoni, the ney, the senza, thunder box, bass and voice.
The title of the album and its music are inspired by the word Mourime (heart, with heart in Punu, language spoken in Gabon)
It is a merger of two lives for music, a creative meeting of the memories and the present of each.
The music sometimes sound happy, sometimes sad, it is played from traditional items to creative liberties and other large spaces.
