Ouïr-Voir

"Ouir-Voir is a series of short videos, less than thirty seconds, produced with an iPhone, Photoshop, Protools and sound processing plugins (GRM, Ircam, UVI) The iPhone serves both as a camera and as a percussion instrument. A kitchen strainer, a brush for the dishes, the strings of a piano or those of an electric guitar will generate percussion sounds synchronized with the movements of the image. Some images from the PiXXXLS series are embedded in videos taken with the iPhone. The soundtrack of the video is then developed by adding other sounds preserving as much as possible the image-percussion connection. The Ouïr-Voir » series is visible on Instagram, Facebook,Youtube.
