The Fan

The HANDSPEAK duo brings together Henri Roger (acoustic piano) and Marcel Bataillard (two Kaoss Pads) in a form of improvised music marked by restraint and subtlety. The album is released on all platforms on march 13th 2026.

The piano explores the possibilities of serial music through a minimalist and impressionistic approach : fragments, quiet repetitions, slow circulation of motifs, and close attention to resonance and silence. The Kaoss Pads intervene without electronic aggressiveness. They extend the piano, filtering, diffusing, and gently coloring the sonic space. Their presence adds lightness and mobility, preventing the music from becoming heavy or overly serious. The overall aesthetic is serene.

Four sessions have been recorded in this spirit. They will result in the release of four albums, each revealing a different facet of this acoustic-electronic dialogue.
